1281Introducing Jenny Frankl, new neighborhood district coordinator for the South Region Team

We welcome Jenny Frankl to the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods (DON) as Neighborhood District Coordinator in the South Region Team. Jenny was first introduced to the DON family in 2008, when she was hired as the program coordinator for the Mayor’s Youth Council/Seattle Youth Commission.
Following her time with the Seattle Youth Commission, Jenny has supported DON in a variety of capacities, that include: project manager for the Neighborhood Matching Fund-Seattle Youth Violence Prevention Initiative, youth outreach specialist for Neighborhood Planning & Outreach program, interim neighborhood district coordinator for the Northeast District, community project outreach specialist for PACE, and contract specialist for the Community Cornerstones Multicultural Community Center (MCC) Feasibility-planning.
We are excited to now welcome Jenny as a permanent member of the DON family, in the position of Neighborhood District Coordinator on the South Region Team. In addition to her many roles within in DON, she holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from UW Evans School of Public Affairs, brings four years of experience as a middle school/high school teacher in the Seattle School District, two years of experience as a Peace Corps volunteer in Jamaica, and one year as a development coordinator for Teens In Public Service.
