      Please come out to assist The Animal Guardian Network in preparing a
      property that will be used to help animals in dire need! We are a
      public outreach organization providing education and assistance to the
      humane community at large. To learn more, visit

      The Sanctuary is becoming a reality thanks to all of the hard work &
      dedication of the many volunteers that have rolled up their sleeves &
      pitched in. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! What an amazing group
      you are!

      Volunteers needed for:
      Saturday, Oct. 4th 8am-4pm
      Sunday, Oct. 5th 8am-4pm
      Volunteers are asked to come out for a couple hours, a few hours, 1/2
      the day - or more! Volunteers need not show up specifically at 8am.
      Whatever time your schedule allows you to contribute is so very much

      After this volunteer weekend, the process will include obtaining
      permits to start building the barn, kennels & pet chapel.

      >Snacks, bottled water and lunch will be provided.

      Main Volunteer Projects:
      --Clear/clean-up remaining landscape debris
      Be sure to wear closed toe shoes, hat/cap, heavy duty work gloves,
      long pants. Also, please bring safety goggles if you plan to assist
      with the chain saw!

      Tools needed for this weekend:
      *Metal rakes
      *Gas powered chain saws
      *Shovels (also, pointed shovels)
      *Dust masks
      *Tree trimmers
      *If you don't have any tools, just bring your enthusiasm! : )

      Volunteer Mission:
      The Animal Guardian Sanctuary project is being spearheaded under the
      guidance of Founder/Director Carrie Singer. Volunteers are greatly
      needed in this 3rd wave to provide a bit of "elbow grease" in order to
      get the property up and running - the sooner, the better, to help
      animals in need! There will be something for everyone to do to pitch in!

      Sanctuary Wish List:
      *Corrugated metal / tin panels ~ for fencing
      *Horse stalls / mare motels
      *Electrical work
      *Plumbing work
      *Welding work
      *Concrete pad for kennels & ramada
      *Synlawn & sail shades
      Please bring donated items with you. All donations to Animal Guardian
      Network are tax-deductible.

      Project Wish List:
      *Someone to haul away landscape debris.
      *Someone to haul away concrete chunks.
      *Someone with a tractor that can do some grading.

      The purpose of the Sanctuary will be to:
      *Provide short-term emergency boarding for the rescue community or to
      victims of natural disasters,
      *Provide a venue for assisting animal welfare organizations with
      adoptions & fund raising,
      *Act as headquarters for the operations of the Animal Guardian Network,
      *Serve as a primary location for our programs.
      --the Sanctuary will not provide resources to known horse or other
      animal abusers and will work diligently to foster awareness around
      these issues.
