That was not counting the 2 UA's, 6 maybes that did not make it
(thanks for trying!), or the 6+ caught up by work (where I am now
after the Parade).
Thanks to the kids from Boy Scout Troop 250 who are not part of our
Boy Scout Venture Crew 1855. Your stepping up to help was extreamely
benificial and welcomed. Even if half your friends in the local
JrROTC's could not decide if we were British or Colonial US Army...
fortunately some did get closer and thought we were Confederates.
Special thanks to my old friends Ted and Murphy for showing up and
making a Confederate Honor Guard happen. And thanks to Ted for the
extra Loaner kit that helped to make it happen. It is a much needed
part of our program here in town.
Our count is 2 times that of last years Veterans Day and 1 shy
Union, +1 Lady and +3 Confederate from Heldorado Days this May.
