Update: All Suspects in Custody in Police Car Thief Pursuit
The pursuit began after a passenger in a car that officers believe to be stolen fled the scene of the arrest.

Lieutenant Carlos Solano said that as of 3:40 p.m. all suspects were in custody. "There's no threat to the community," Solano said.
Police are currently pursuing a suspect who was involved in alleged car theft at around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon near Avenue 53 and Glen Ellen Place.
According to Sergeant Lisa Phillips, LAPD Northeast Officers arrested one suspect after checking the plates of the vehicle he was driving and determining it to be stolen. The second suspect, the vehicle's passenger, fled the scene on foot.
As of 2 p.m., a LAPD helicopter could still be heard hovering over the neighborhood and a police perimeter had been set-up around Avenue 54 and Glen Ellen Place.
Police could not provide a description of the suspect at the time of the conversation.
