      2. PUBLIC COMMENT on items NOT listed on the agenda.

       

      3. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES. Review and approval of the minutes from the preceeding meeting.

       

      4. APPLICATION REVIEWS/PRESENTATIONS. Review development applications:

      A. 3835 Glenalbyn Dr. New 2,397 SF, 3-­‐story single family residence with attached two-­‐car garage on vacant parcel. Applicant responded to second email giving them an opportunity to present. A representative of Starlite Realty will not be present and they chose not to make notification to the neighbors. We will look at the documentation submitted and make our recommendation to the City Planning Office.

      B. 852 Oneonta Drive. Proposed 2-­‐story addition of 800 sq. ft. Submitted geology and soils report, environmental assessment, floor area ratio pursuant to Mt. Wash Specific Plan. Applicant has not responded to email giving them an opportunity to present. We will look at the documentation submitted and make our recommendation to the City Planning Office.

      C. West Point Developments

      A formal PRESENTATION of the architectural drawing will be by the architect Shawn C.H. Chang, Principal/Managing Director of TAG Design Works in Arcadia.  Access to documents related to this agenda item can be found at:

      5. NEW BUSINESS:

      (Tamar) 2014 NC Election Voter Survey results. Planning & Development: #1 issue amongst respondents. Also, additional important issues facing our Neighborhood Council was open spaces and community gardens and curbing inappropriate development.  (Tamar) Tamar attended the PLUM meeting and spoke in favor of new regulations to quell the tide of Mansionization.  There was large community turnout from all parts of LA.  PLUM members asked the Planning Department to get back to them within 30 days with recommendations for wording  or legislation.

      6. UPCOMING BUILDING PROJECTS expected to be addressed at a later meeting:

      Packets received from City Planning Office. No date for presentation yet:

      • 3814 N. Glenalbyn Dr. Construction of new 1,347 sq. ft. single family residence.  Invitation to present was sent.  No packets received yet:

      • 460 N. Crane.  Demolision of existing house and construction of new 2,438 sq. ft. home.

      • 4755 W. Glenalbyn.  500 sq. ft. second story addition.

      • 728 N. Ganymede Dr.  New single family residence.
