      IV. General public comment, community announcements, and suggestions for future agenda items (2 mins. each).
      a. Update on Hermon Community Emergency Response (CERT) – Mark Legassie

      Discussion and possible action on the following agenda items:
      V. Request the ASNC board reinstate the $1,000 neighborhood purposes grant approved in Nov. 2011 for L.A. International Charter High School's athletics program, but not paid due to procedural errors.

      VI. Request ASNC funding from Hermon-designated community project budget not to exceed $1,000 for procurement of emergency supplies for use by Hermon CERT team and local residents in the event of a disaster. Supplies would be safely stored in the secure Hermon CERT emergency bin and be under control of CERT team members (detailed list provided at meeting).

      VII. Request ASNC funding from Hermon-designated project budget, not to exceed $500, for printing/ distribution of a "Hermon Community Survey" to help determine neighborhood needs and priorities.

      VIII. Request ASNC funding from Hermon-designated project budget, not to exceed $300, to cover the costs of hosting an issue-specific community forum to educate stakeholders on a timely issue, TBD.

      IX. Request the ASNC take a position in support of Councilmember Jose Huizar's recent City Council motion (#12-1682) calling for review and definition of the qualifications needed to be considered a "factual basis" stakeholder in the City's neighborhood council system.

      X. Adjournment.
