Is this drive to establish a network on the Magic Band driven by its awesome propagation, or by the amount of commercial surplus out there in depots gathering

Group Description

APRS is Automatic Packet Reporting System originally developed by Bob Bruninga. It's a communication network used by Amateur Radio Operators to show, on a map, the locations of our stations. This is a back up list to the APRS list at tapr.org. Feel free to join this one, but I don't intend for it to compete or replace the other one. Lately the TAPR list has been going down for hours at a time, so maybe we can use this is a back up. Ray, KD4BBM
