Well, no one's responded to this; so I'll rephrase the question:
Does anyone have a database of boxscores, that would allow for a
search of such things as "triple doubles" or "5 x 5" ?

I know the "4 x 7" has been attained, because a couple of players
have actually put up Quad Doubles. But how often does it occur in
an average season ? How often do other combos occur?

      3 * 10 = 30
      4 * 7 = 28
      5 * 5 = 25

Since these are all in the same ballpark, maybe they are comparable?

Interesting. Some usual suspects in there (Hakeem, Vlade, AK) but
also some surprises, to me at least (Coleman, Tinsley, Camby),
          although they're not total surprises.

Not on the list: David Robinson, Julius Erving, Magic Johnson, Kevin
          Garnett, Nate McMillan.

Jason Kidd has missed a lot of triple-doubles by failing to score 10
points. Maybe McMillan got all but the _5 Points_ .

I should also clarify that I'm not claiming that any of those players that I cited actually accomplished a 5x5; rather that I'd think that they were more likely candidates than the Jamaal Tinsleys and Marcus Cambys of the world. Coleman's a bit of a special case: that he had the talent to be a rare, high-level, all-around player was clear. What was surprising was to see him actually live up to that potential for once.
