This is a non-discussion homeschool list for the purpose of storing and downloading pdf files of the art prints that are scheduled with Ambleside Online.
I wanted to take a minute to share how I print out these files. There are several ways you can do it, and I've tried several ways, but this has become my favorite.
First, I download the PDF files and save them to my computer.
Then I attach the files to an email and send them directly to the Office Depot Copy and Print department. (You could probably use any store with a printing department.)
I got the direct email address by calling my local story, and asking for the Copy and Print department. They were more than happy to share their direct email address.
I always request in the email that they email me back with a quote. It is less than a dollar per page, and sometimes I can even get a coupon online.
I request that they print it on Card Stock. I know this sounds odd, but it's better. The first time I went to pick up the prints I had requested, the lady at the store had printed one out on photo paper (which I had requested) and one on card stock. The one on card stock looked so much better, so that is what I always request now.
My email to them looks something like this:
I would like to have the attached PDF document printed. It includes 6 pages, single sided, and I would like them printed in color on card stock paper. Would you please let me know how much this will cost?
Best wishes. Let me know if you have any other questions.
