I am not, as you might have guessed, interested in ancient chronology; I just need to find out whether H. C. Rawlinson's interpretation of the eponym lists remains the accepted one. His dates (for the four texts he had) were exactly two years earlier than Ungnad's -- his first entry is for "Asshur-zallus(?), the king," in 755 BC, "calculated from the assumed date of B.C. 721 for the 1st of Sargon." Ungnad makes this 753, and their entries concur precisely down to the end of R's sources in 678 (676), with the exception that R's interpretations of logograms were often quite off the mark.
