Excellent and honest review of the 'film' ,Exodus Decoded' appearing in BAR. Seems that BAR is trying to redeem some 'bad karma' as the film was directed and produced by the same film maker who brought us the highly questionable, James brother of Jesus Ossuary (it's real) documentary. Too bad that the History Channel didn't have some integrity by previewing the film to scholars before running it. Will the negative review have any effect, probably not, watch for the reruns and beware of those biblical themes on the History Channel. It's neither theology, history nor archaeology more in the category of some of the latest Qumran 'in context studies' which are heavy on the con and light on the text. Indiana Jones and the DaVinci Code were better.
