Now that the academic year has come to a close, and many members will be
off travelling, we would like to remind members that they do not have to
leave the list in order to keep their mailboxes from being filled up while
they are temporarily out of touch with their home base.

Yahoo groups allows you to turn off email delivery of messages posted to
the list and to turn it back on when you are settled again. This is
particularly important if you will have an auto-response on your office
email telling correspondents that you are away from the office. If you
are going to do this, you may want to change your email address for list
traffic to the address you will be using for the summer.

To change your mail delivery options, go to the home page of the ANE-2
group (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ANE-2/). Just above the ANE-2 title
bar you will see a link entitled "Edit Membership." Follow this link and
you will arrive at a page that provides several options for "Message
      Delivery":

      - Individual Email
      - Daily Digest
      - Special Notices
      - Web Only

To stop email delivery of message postings, select "Web Only." Most
important, do not forget to click on "Save Changes" at the bottom of the
page before leaving the page. If you do not do this, your new preference
      will not be registered.

You can also use this page to change your email address without having to
      leave the list and rejoin.

Have a safe and pleasant summer.
