Group Description

Beginning in 1948 American Model Toys (AMT) began the company that led to the production of Auburn Model Trains and the Kusan Model Train Division of the Kusan Corporation and KMT for a start. Kris Model Trains came next and finally the early Williams production.

Challenging Lionel was certainly a daunting task.

Our group is for those with an interest in AMT, Auburn, Kusan, KMT, Kris, Frank's Roundhouse and Williams toy trains. We are interested in expanding our knowledge within this diverse yet not widely known train grouping. Your opinions, comments and observations are welcome.

Remember, if Jack Ferris can beat Lionel as he did with his Aluminum passenger cars and scale box cars we can unravel this story. At times the story becomes quite complicated.

Why not come along for the ride!
