    Hello Friends,

     

    Coming up fast is another great event being organized by San Jose State University’s Urban Planning Coalition and the Northern California Chapter of the American Planning Association.  This is a great follow up to Donald Shoup’s talk on free parking.  Bruce Appleyard and Joshua Hart will talk about Livable Streets.  The flyer and directions are attached and the registration page is here:

    Streets are for people, not simply cars.  As Silicon Valley grapples with growth, redesigning streets so that they are safe and attractive places to meet, mingle, walk, cycle, play, trade and learn is critical to ensuring that the region remains a wonderful place to live and work.
