Mi. 12 Deshka River
- 26 Species..No Flycatchers have been seen or heard..yet...at Mile 12 of the Deshka River:
76 King Salmon have gone through the weir at Mi 7 of the Deshka as of 5/31,2012.
Last year very few Swallows in next boxes..this year, I had to put up a few more boxes and immediately had swallows checking them out...total nest boxes currently being used - 14..lost a few this last winter due to heavy snow fall and winds.
On the Big Su..2 Eagle nests are occupied..mega gulls on sand dunes..

White fronted Goose, S.H. Crane, Spotted Sandpiper, Lesser Yellow-legs, Wilson's Snipe, Arctic Tern,
3-T Woodpecker, C. Raven, Tree & V.G. Swallow, Boreal & Black-capped Chickadee, R.B. Nuthatch, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Varied Thrush, Am. Robin, Swainson's & Hermit Thrush, Yellow-rumped & Yellow Warbler, Northern Waterthrush, White-crowned & Fox Sparrow,Dark-eyed Junco, Pine Grosbeak, Common Redpoll.
