      Biking home along the coast today were the following:
      15-20 Greater Yellowlegs
      1 juv. Hudsonian Godwit. This is late the bird put up its wing showing not
      only the wing and the rump. The wingbar, dark underwing and typical tail
      pattern(black distally, white proximally) ruled out other species.
      6-8 Pectoral Sandpipers
      1 Sharp-tailed Sandpiper-locally rare, this was a partially hidden by grass
      but the rufous cap and supercillium were well seen in direct comparison to
      the Pectorals with which it was sitting. THe birds were next to the bike
      path about half way between the RR tracks and the bench which overlooks the
      small ponds.
