      Some of you were confused about Middle Autumn Celebration Galas. There are two of them and ACP is a major co-sponsor/presenter for both of them:

       

      First one: Moon Festival Celebration Gala Performance

       

      Held on Sunday, September 6, 2009, 7:00 to 9:00 PM

      Location: Centennial Hall Performing Arts Center,  The Haverford School, 450 W. Lancaster Ave. Haverford, PA 19401

       

      Please visit http://www.pcpat.org/ for details about artists, programs and   driving direction.  Event road signs will be displayed starting at the intersection of Rt30 and Haverford Station Road (near Wachovia Bank).    

       

      Please arrive at least 15 mins early. The show will start at 7 pm SHARP. All tickets were sold out. No ticket will be available at the door.

       

      Second one: Autumn Gala concert

       

      Held on Saturday, September 19, 2009, 7:30pm-9: 30pm

      Location: Emilier K. Asplundh Concert Hall, Philips Memorial Building, West Chester University (WCU), West Chester, PA 19383      

       

      Ticket: There are only about 25% out of all the tickets left available to general public. If you missed the chance to get a ticket for the first one, don't miss this one. If you can't secure a ticket, WCU will not let you in for sure. $5/WCU Students,  $15/Other Students & Seniors,  $25/General, $100/VIP. For Tickets: Call WCU at (610) 436-2266 Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

       

      Chinese famous ErHu player Yu, Hongmei and Guzheng player Zhang, Xiaohong will come from China .  Principal cellist of Philadelphia Orchestra Hai-Ye Ni will also join the concert.  There are four outstanding musicians coming from New York City : Bao Jian – virtuoso of Guangzi , Hu Jianbing - composer and virtuoso of the Sheng, Jenny Chai and Judy Pang - pianists both from Manhattan Music School .
