- The Duluth News Tribune has an immediate opening for a versatile journalist to edit copy and design pages on a temporary basis. Responsibilities include editing local and wire stories, writing headlines, designing pages and posting stories to duluthnewstribune.com. Qualified candidates will possess a basic knowledge of AP style and a command of spelling and grammar. The position requires that you juggle a variety of tasks on deadline, write accurate headlines and design clean, attractive pages. Daily newspaper experience is preferred, and knowledge of Quark Xpress is required.
A bachelor's degree in journalism or equivalent education and experience is required.
Hours are 4:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and will include weekend shifts.
