- Early Church History Mailing List:
A new mailing list has been started specifically targeting the
very early years of Christianity and the political and religious climate
surrounding the social context of the life of Jesus of Nazareth.
Timeframe of the discussions will be roughly 100 B.C.E. to 325 C.E.
The primary purpose of this list is historical *not* evangelical.
In recent years, due mostly to discoveries of the Dead Sea
Scrolls and the Nag Hammadi Library, new light has been shed
which has raised questions about Jesus and his followers. This
list will examine these questions, as well as discuss the culture
and politics of the area where the early Church began.
Again, this is a historical list not a religious list.

church as led by James, the brother of Jesus.
... How was the message of Jesus changed in the first couple
of centuries of the early church?
... Non-history related theology.

explanation of your research.
