Group Description

The A-100 group is for people who have passed the U.S. Foreign Service Officer written and oral exams. By connecting to this group we hope to answer questions concerning the process of getting into the A-100 class and once in the A-100 class we hope to help each other in Washington or a foreign country.

Note: You must have a valid e-mail address to apply to this group. If you do not apply with an e-mail address attached to your application, your application will be denied.

The A-100-2002 group is a private forum. No material may be forwarded from this group (attributed OR anonymously) without express permission from the originator and all contributors to the forwarded thread.

WARNING: This is a VERY active group. You may want to choose settings of "No Email" or "Daily Digest."

- Your Name

- Where did you take the oral exam and what day?

- How many people passed with you?

- What career track are you in?

- What was your exam score?

- Do you qualify for/have any bonus points i.e. language test, veteran’s preference?

- Where did you hear about this group?

- May we post your score information in our database? This will be done completely anonymously by date of oral exam. For instance, if you passed the exam with a 5.4 in Consular on June 8, 2003, we would post your information in the Consular database using 060803 as your name. You could then edit your information at any time. If you choose not to allow us to post your information anonymously, your membership approval will not be affected in any way.
