      Talk about guard duty. If it wasn't guard duty then is was mess hall duty. I really hated mess hall duty, I remember my buddies and I doing the work for the cooks! Not to mention the weather, very few sunny days something I'm not used to... I live in South Texas.

      Sounds nice, but that wasn’t our schedule as Infantryman, when we were in Garrison we had guard duty a lot, but we were always working.

      Now ya gotta love Germany though..... I swear with all the German Holidays and such we only worked like 3 days a week most of the time it seemed....

       

      I was down in Coleman and the weather wasn't all that bad... it was funny watching some of the southerners play in the snow.... and then watching them try to drive in it was even better.....
