      Many thanks to all those who gave advice on gradients.



      After a slight redesign of my plan I have managed to ease the gradient to 5%
      (on paper anyway).



      I will still try a mock up of the incline before serious work commences to
      see how the locos cope with it.



      As I am using DCC it will be a good excuse for double heading or banking the
      trains up the gradient if all else fails.
