Hi Howard.  Telford 3 weeks too early for me.  Hoping to catch up with the Assoc. sales stand, plus finally see some 7mm ng layouts at the M5/M50 exhibition in Oct, which is happening the day before I return to West Aus.    All the best.   John S White

          Dave,

          Which one?

If this is the diesel as used under the Vulcan kit for the Sierra Leone loco, then the Mercian HO Fowler dock tank chassis is as near as you’ll get for wheelbase to the real thing. If you have the version of the kit for the Lima chassis ten you’d have to put the axle slots on the outside frames right. Use a High Level Gear Box.

If you mean the class 08/09 diesel shunter, then the new Hornby version (with outside frames) or Bachmann models are suitable, and should be available widely

If you mean the class 08/09 diesel shunter, then the new Hornby  version (with outside frames) or Bachmann models are suitable, and should be available widely from model shops.  Might be worth looking for  one in a less popular livery to see if you can get a better discount.
