Happy New Year for 2009 to you and to anybody who read this message !
The idea to order seafoam is of course the best thing to do to begin
fast and good.
Make nice trees isn't too difficult than it looks. I'm not a
specialist of the scenery.
As you said : the scenery is very important in our hobby. Trains
aren't the only thing to model when we model trains. I think scenery
is important as trains themselves. Presentation during shows is very
important too. My friend Christopher Payne knows this well !
Before you order "leaves" for your trees, choose well the colors you
need for your season. I love fall with the brown, yellow red and
green colors. It's nice to see. I have used very different kinds of
colors melting them when I used them.
But remember, it's not difficult to match a good and realistic
result. I was really happy of my first trees when I began.
My layout should come in England for a show in Stafford in 2011 :
there, you'll can see the result in 3 dimensions (but 2011 is still
far... sorry !).
