    I find the whole motor mount is a bit flimsy. I had to put the motor quite cockeyed in the mounting slots to get the pulleys lined up under belt tension.

      The motor on my Grizzly (G9742) vibrated a lot when I first got it. I bought a ‘real’ v-belt, which removed the shake, rattle, and roll. China –v-belts

        The motor on my Grizzly (G9742) vibrated a lot when I first got it. I bought a ‘real’ v-belt, which removed the shake, rattle, and roll. China –v-belts are made out of recycled yak hair or something similar. They seem to take a set when they sit a little while.

        The motor mounting plate on it eventually bent, and then cracked. I straightened & welded it, and welded on a couple pieces of flat-bar to strengthen it. No problems since….that was 5 or 6 years ago.
