- Nov 2, 2005You know, I could almost overlook the screaming girls -- the show is what it is (if you saw the Transylvania show that broadcast the hour before the Borden one, you had an hour of a family screaming at every little shadow and sound)....
It is obviously a show aimed at kids, so it plays up every little thing that can possibly be construed as being "scary"...
What really pissed me off was the supposed Borden B&B "Tour Director" telling the ":Lizzie killed Abby's cat" rumor as if it were fact, and then the obvious wailing cat hoax which immediately followed.
It would be interesting to find out just when Sci-Fi's Ghostbusters show was there, and just when ABC Family's Scariest Places On Earth was there. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the Ghostbusters show was there first, which of course presented their findings of no haunting there.
There would be more of an incentive for the B&B people to then "prove" to the ABC people that the place is indeed haunted when that crew came to film. Of course, it could have been the show's idea to do the cat thing, but I still blame the B&B people for going along with it.
But I guess all those renovations are expensive, and business needs to be drummed up any way possible.... :/

If you missed it, you didn't miss much...I saw parts of it a few weeks back, and it was so bad I didn't even mention it. It seemed silly and stupid, and June got it right with girls running around screaming.Pat
