      Some days ago Thomas NZ4O published his propagation forecast.
      He predicts that a sunspot number of 100 will be the peak, and it will occur in July 2013. This means that during the coming three years the increase will be approximately eight per year ! Wee heeeee !

      During the coming months, 30 metres will be open for short to medium distance contacts during daylight hours,but the band will close at night, after sunset, when its dark !

      However, it seems from posted reports that the band is opening from the US mainland to Hawaii and New Zealand at 04.00.UTC

      What a great pity that we in Europe don't have a Pacific Ocean, well anyway it would be a waste really, because 99% of us are in bed at that time !
