For several years QuickMix has been the tool of choice for setting audio
levels for digital comms packages. Unfortunately, although it works with
Windows XP and some versions of Vista and 7, QuickMix doesn't work with
      Windows 8.

There is now a viable alternative: RoMac Sound Card Manager. SCM works
with all versions of Windows. It allows you to set up each of your
programs that uses audio with its own individual levels for a sound
card, and then launch the program. When you quit the selected program,
SCM returns all the sound card levels back to normal.

Once you have set up the audio levels for packages such as Fldigi, MM
SSTV, MixW etc etc, all you do is click on the RoMac SCM Launch button
to start each program with the correct audio levels. No more fiddling
      with Windows sliders!

There is a link to the RoMac Sound Card Manager on the "TS-590S
      Resources Page":

Click on the red "OTHER TOOLS" button, then click on the link " RoMac
      Sound Card Manager".
