      Hi Laurie,

      I opened the log to see what it is logged for the DXCC code and that's what it shows (516) but when it's imported into U30 it's changed and gets reported as an error. Can I correct the problem some how or is that not supposed to be done by me?

      Eddy,

      I put TO2D into DXKeeper and it comes back as 516

      The April 2012 DXCC list from the ARRL also lists Saint Barthelemy as 516
      See it here...

        Eddy,

        Have you confirmed that the correct code is in the adif file?

        I wouldn't expect U30 to modify the adif file. When I have used U30, I
        haven't seen any evidence of it modifying the adif.

        If the correct code is in your adif, and U30 is reporting the dxcc code
        as 0 then that will need to be taken up with the author of U30. I could
        forward the email to him if it is clear that your adif file has the
        correct code and U30 is reporting otherwise.

        BTW the adif tag will be <DXCC:3>516

                Hi Eddy and Laurie,
                just as a postscript to your exchange: I get an error msg due to the prefix ZQ2 which was used in Gibraltar earlier this summer. This corresponds to the TO prefix you discussed. I second Laurie's view that this is a case for our brilliant programmer John to give it a look. Most likely U30 is comparing our log entries to a file like CTY.DAT or similar which has not been complemented yet. I strongly suppose this to happen again with the Olympiad prefixes used by British stns now.

                    Just received advice from the U30 developer.

                    Some DXpeditions callsigns have to be coded into U30 with the correct
                    DXCC Entity.
                    This is needed when the callsign format is associated with more than one
                    DXCC Entity.

                    Current examples
                    TO2D = Saint Barthelemy
                    TO2U = St Pierre & Miquelon

                    Also Some special event callsigns that follow no known Country/Callsign
                    format have to be added to U30.

                    Updates to U30 are rolled-out every week.
