Chess is a living game. Since its inception centuries ago it has evolved and grown in form and format to meet the more challenging demands of the descendants of its original inventors.
Three Dimensional Chess, in its various forms, is chess played in a multi-dimensional form and is another permutation of this enduring and familiar pastime of man.
3D chess is played on multiple levels, not just one. The pieces can move vertically as well as horizontally.
