In this illustrated lecture, distinguished maritime artist Patrick O'Brien discusses the careful research that goes into his paintings of war at sea in the American Revolutionary era. Patrick O'Brien, an illustrator and painter since 1985, specializes in marine art for private and museum collections and is based in Baltimore, Md.
