the NYPD'S 12 precinct squad room and it's detectives-the burly yet sensitive Wojo, Nick Yamana, maker of the best tasting bad coffee ever,grouchy yet loveable Fish, wry intellectual Dietrich, the suave detective and author Harris, eager to please Levitt, outspoken and frank talking Chano, and their long suffering Captain, Barney. They were often visted by the ecentric and sometimes obtuse Inspector Luger, and the often infuriating Lt.Scanlon of Internal Affairs. The show is one of the funniest, best acted, best written comedies of all time and is still beloved by fans today, over 30 years since it premiered.
