        LITERATURE
Easy Fun School's Little House on the Prairie Lesson Index
        http://www.easyfunschool.com/article1496.html

I have not gone through all the links on this site; there are just too many!
This site breaks down the resources by book, including timelines, games,
food, geography, clothing, trivia and more. (Not all the links are finished
yet.) Appears thorough. Rating: 3 1/2 out of 5.
NOTE: There are a few commercial options listed at the very beginning, but
the rest of the site appears to be free.

        LITERATURE/ GENEALOGY
NARA's Digital Classroom: Little House in the Census
        http://www.archives.gov/digital_classroom/lessons/laura_ingalls_wilder/laura
        _ingalls_wilder.html

As an amateur genealogist myself, I love this lesson plan. This site
reminds us that Laura and Almonzo were real people... and that they can be
found in a wealth of census documents from the time. Although this site
would not make a full lesson plan in itself, it is a great introduction to
reading census documents and linking them to real live people and may just
spark an interest in genealogy in your own child. Rating: 3 1/2 out of 5.

        http://schoolathome.blogspot.com/2005/01/little-house-on-prairie-lesson-plan

This site has activities, lesson plans, a timeline and more. Advocates only
free sites. Rating 3 1/2 out of 5.

For what it's worth, I lived near where they actually filmed most of the TV
show (in Arizona!!) for several years. :)

        Hope this helps,

        Chelo
