RE: SURVEY: Teaching religion
- I am not sure if I am to late to answer this, but I thought I would now!
I have been home schooling for 2 years now, started out doing pre-school, we
are now doing kindergarten.
I am teaching my son, Evan, about my religion [snip denominational beliefs]
We have started a book that he makes pictures, and I write down things that he
has talked about, we sing songs, we do earth base crafts.
[snip more denominational beliefs]
We are teaching him about other religions, his father has a Ph.D in Theology,
so we cover many areas. I do not believe [snip religious assetion], so I
want him to know about them all!
[MODERATOR: Thanks for your feedback, Melinda. I edited because I want to
be very sure this list doesn't become a forum for arguing religion. (It's
my favorite subject, and it's hard for me not to join in.) But I am VERY
interested in your teaching methods. Thank you for the input! -- lmg]
