I am a novice writer, however I am 1 chapter away from completion of
my first novel. I am 435 pages in, and I am looking to help others
with the experience that I've learned in the writing process.
It is a young-adult audience, if a coming-of-age genre. Contrasting
two lives at the opposite of most every socialogical spectrum.
- Josh: 15, male, mother died, malnourished, abused, poor, scraping
by in grades, short, and depressed.
- Chance: 17, female, parents never maried, well fed, nurtured,
daughter of a neuro-sergeon, valadictorian, 6'3" and a proud martial
Throughout the book, the two lives are explored, and on a few
occasions, they meet online, but nothing much happens. In book 2,
they each go through a move accross the country for thier own
reasons, and end up living on the same street. They finally meet face
to face at the end. Book three, they get together and become a
couple. They share thier lives, and at the end, one of them proposes.
I have the first book all but completed, I am waiting on further
research material presently to finish the final chapter and 1/5th.
Arrggg, I've been waiting a while. I have a publisher, thier already
interested in the manuscript.
If anyone would like sample chapters of the manuscript, I would be
more then happy to share them. For example, if anyone has problems
filling up a chapter with material, I can send you one of my later
chapters. Chapter 22 for example, has over 30 pages.
Or if a member of this group is having a problem working out a plot
arrangement in the book, then I can help with that too. I've
developed a method, in working out my book, to place the entire work
out on one page of type-face paper. I've never seen done, what I've
done, so a fresh perspective may be of benifit to other writers.
I may seem over-zealous, or cocky in my first post, and I know full
well that first impressions are the most lasting of all experiences,
but I really feel a need to help other writers. I was forced to do
all that I've done on my own, and it was very hard emotionally,
spiritually and physically. I wish to help other avoid such pitfalls.
My primary dream in life is to make a publishing firm to make an
amature novelists life easy. I wish to allow all-but-free postage,
[sending it to my business would cost, but I would not require those
damn SASE's]. I would all but promise publication, as with guidence,
every novel idea will appeal to some audience. In this nature, many
people can become writers with sufficient guidance.
In closing, I would love if anyone wishing to write me would contact
me at: robingosse@...
Thanks for your time, and board space.
