I feel like an idiot. I truly do. I¹ve spent hours trying to properly
download this file and need to try to wrap this up today. I am reasonably
bright, really. I couldn¹t find the Sheepshaver-Basilik folder because I was
looking in the files, not the links. An honest mistake.
I am DESPERATE for assistance.
I did indeed install "SheepShaver-WordPerfect Install 1.1." But I could not
find the "WordPerfect " folder. I uninstalled because I assumed I screwed
up and reinstalled. The problem is that nothing happens when I click on the
disk image (the .dmg file). So there¹s nothing to drag to the OS9 app older
Second, I tried to follow the instructions in the InstallReadMe.pdf.
However, no dialog told me when installation was complete, which gets me
concerned I screwed up somehow. More importantly, after I open the pref box
and navigated to the .dmg file after clicking ³add², no volume path showed
up -- so again I assume I screwed up somewhere. The volume disk shows up,
but no path. I feel I have made a fundamental mistake someplace.
I¹m sorry, sorry for the need for so much handholding.
