Since getting my scope back from Meade there have been very few clear/partly clear night and virtually none that didn't conflict with projects from work or being out of town. Once again I have to say that I go out once or twice a week to see my scope and tell it I still love it.

After being stuck in traffic on I-64 for an hour due to an accident, I finally made it to York River at about 8:15pm and we already had a few folks waiting for some celestial mosels. John Raymond from Richmond joined us once again (thanks for coming all the way down John and helping out). Also Bill McLean came on out. We had some clouds at first but they gave way to clear (although damp) skies.Daryl and his wife Gina drove up for a bit and joined us for a whil and we had 5 folks join us plus the Park Ranger Intenr- Kyle and his brother from the conoe trip join us. It was very nice to have a break from the daily grind and enjoy the fellowship of astronomy! We packed up and closed the gat at a little after midnight. Thanks Kyle and rest of York River State Park for allowing us to enjoy nature in your back yard!

If so then we can set up on the sidewalk as it will be to wet to be out in the field. Stayed tuned to this channel for future updates. Hey Rob E, were you planning on coming out to the park if we are on? I will be meeting some out of town family for dinner and may be a little late getting down there. Daryl
