One has to under stand that companies selling the goods are manufacturers -- such as Hill-Shaw or Silex. Companies that create items for other companies are fabricators or suppliers. McKee Glass is both. They sold items under their Glasbake trademark in stores, sold rebranded and prepackaged products to other companies -- l ike Montgomery Wards, e tc., and also fabricated items as a supplier -- such as special glass coffee makers models to Hill-Shaw and others. Gener ally, as a rule, McKee fabricated items carry the Glasbake trademark somewhere on them.
