She's well worth experiencing. On Sunday she will also talk about the inner life of chickens, what makes them tick and how to get along with them optimally.
One thing: unfortunately I advertised the time of Sunday's event variously as 1:30 - 3 p m and 2 - 4 pm. Long story short, Pat will be at the Albany Library Edith Stone Room at 1:30 pm and go to 4 pm or thereabouts. Bring anyone who has ever expressed any interest in keeping chickens, growing their own food, or living a more sustainable life. Dogs can be easily trained to get along with them.
Can anyone offer her a place to stay on Saturday night? She has with her a beautiful Buff Orpington, "Oprah Henfrey."
Please let me know if you can host her and I'll forward the information.
