Internet takes on TV, with success, study says
Television no longer is the main medium for young people, according to
the EIAA study.
(EUX.TV) Young people across Europe now spend more time surfing the
Internet than that they are watching television, according to a new study. The study offers fresh evidence that television consumption is shrinking because of the emergence of the web.
According to the European Interactive Advertising Association, known as EIAA, people between the age of 16 and 24 spend 10 percent spent more time surfing the net last year, and nearly half of them, 48 percent, claim that they watch less television because of the Internet.
