This CD and Vox Vission #1 are minimally packaged(no tray insert, no real
recording info) and say "Executive produced by BEARS" on them. They're both
pretty sweet as noise/psych compilations go, and I would definitely shell
out good money for full releases by the groups here that were unknown to me,
like Soft or any of the Yamamoto stuff. I have no idea if either disc is in
print, I found them in the bargain bin at Border's(!) for $10 each, which
was a *steal*.
Here's a track listing for Micro Truxx:
1. NOISE RAMONES: "Neu Sramones" 4:16
EYE Ramone>NEU Ramone
Title says it all.
2. EAD: "Lorange" 7:23
Manabu Ishikuma>Junji Miike>Atsushi Shibata>Kohichi Yoshimura>Katsumi
Rumbling and spacey psych, kind of like a vocalless Marble Sheep.
3. SOFT: "1013" 7:02
Shinji Fujimoto>Masato Ukon>Katsunori Shimizu>Tomoyuki Katsuta>Shinkichi
Similar to above, but stoneder.
4. ROVO: "Cisco(Live)" 9:57
Yuji Katsui>S1 Yamamoto>Jin Harada>Tatsuki Masuko>SO>Yasuhiro Yoshigaki
Pretty much as you might expect.
5. [Omega] LOVES YOU: "Man Kind" 7:31
Yamamoto [Omega}>Masato Yokota
Synthy soundscape type stuff that switches to guitar and piano riffing and
back again. Definitely the oddest listen on the disc.
6. UNIVERSAL ERRORS: "Hey Yak! You Are The New Star" 7:19
ATR>Kiyoshi Izumi>Gho Kuwahara>Kohichi Yoshimura
Fuuuuucked up dub w/organ. Heavy enough to put a dent in your forehead. My
favorite track, I think.
7. WOODS: "Crick" 5:02
The dying breath of a drum machine.
