Hello A32, SVMUG, members and friends,
Our next A32 meeting will be held on February 8, 2006, between 7 and
9 PM, at the Strawberry Square Clubhouse.
This will be a tutorial meeting, with the topic of "Color - Viewing
Images and Printing".

Speaking of which, I decided to experiment with iWeb to completely
revise and rebuild the web site. Please check it out, and tell me
what you think.
Now, I usually work with Dreamweaver, and by no means do I consider
iWeb to be Dreamweaver replacement. However, if your requirements are
to have a simple web publishing solution, integrated with your photo
albums and with blogging, iWeb is definitely a good way to go.
As most reviewers have indicated, iWeb is lacking on a few features.
1. It does not currently allow site maintenance from more than one
client computer. (or maybe it does...see below).
2. The image files tend to the large size - the compression is not
I expect both objections to be answered in short order. MacWorld has
reported that Apple will publish a technical note concerning the use
of multiple editing platforms, e.g. a laptop on the road and a
desktop computer at home. As for the image size problem, a preference
setting for the compression used would handle that nicely. Perhaps in
