I think itwould be because og his fascist government, which i have
heard was not as fascist as Italy's. Why would he be consisdered a
conservative? Probably because of his views on race. His and the Nazi
brand of Jew hating was definately not something new, it was as old
as the jews being shipped off to Europe by the Romans. That would be
my answer, although I agree with the premise of what you say, Naziism
definately is not conservatism in the American sense. But i would say
that he was considered it because of the racism of his regime, and
the imperialist nature of his attempts at world domination. He
believes in Eugenics, believed in regaining colonies that Germany had
lost, and wanted to create a new Reich. Fairly backward notions as
well as very non progessive. Thats what I would say in response to
why he is called right wing by the left wing.
