Well group, after all my BIG talk the internal sound card in my
notebook had a stereo line-in port, I'm not so sure now. On the V9.0
there are equal signals equal distance on both sides of the center freq
peak. The peak is larger on the V9.0 than on the V6.2 Lite RX... or
seems to be anyway.
I spend the last couple hours playing with both radios and they BOTH
have the signal on both sides of the center peak. I have been lisening
to several AM BC stations on 40 meters and 9 mhz both. sounds pretty
good. 40 meters just is not open much at my qth - even on the 756Pro.
I did manage to pick up a couple of CW signals and the V9.0 seems to be
ok on those signals - other than having the same signal on both sides
of the center freq.
I WILL be testing on the desktop over the weekend - BUT not all all
sure that card is stereo input either. "IF" the SB PCI card gets here
Friday maybe I can stick it in for testing.
Thanks to all for comments - and a special thanks to Fred for that
GREAT dll file to allow Winrad to control the Si570 chip.
getting time for my beauty sleep.
