Dear Softrock Switched BPF beta testers:
I found some small discrepancies between the values indicated by the
Toroid calculator and practical inductance measured. Maximum
variation is 2 Turns less than indicated by the Toroid Calculator.
Important we get this right for the production version of this kit.
Can one or two of the beta builders with access to an inductance
meter, please check that the following practical toroid winding data
is correct. These are the values I found when using the cores
supplied by Tony:
L8 = 13T #30 AWG on T25-6 gives 0.53uH inductance
L11=L12 = 27T #30 AWG on T25-6 for 2.0 uH inductance
L8 = 19T #30 AWG on T25-6 for 1.1 uH
L7 = L9 = 36T #30 AWG on T25-6 for 4.0 uH
L5 = 26T #30 AWG on T25-2 for 2.5uH
L4 = L6 = 48T #30 AWG on 25-2 for 8uH
L2 = 48T #30 AWG on T30-2 for 10.7uH
L1 = L3 = 71T #30 AWG on T30-2 for 23uH
Note: I suggested Tony to use T30-1 (blue cores) for this range to
reduce number of turns.
Please let me have confirmation off-line of your measurements.

Very useful! thanks
