Dear SOAP::Lite Developer and User communities,
If you have not already gathered, SOAP::Lite 0.65 is a big release and
is incorporating a huge slew of new features, enhancements, and bug
fixes. Because of the relative size of this release, I am calling upon
all SOAP::Lite users to help me test and put to use the first release
Download SOAP-Lite-0.65-beta1.tar.gz at the following URL:
Until SOAP::Lite 0.65 is officially released, its documentation can
only be found online at the following URL. It is not pretty to look at,
but should serve everyone's needs:
Please submit all bugs, questions, suggestions etc to SOAP::Lite's
Sourceforge bug tracking system, found at the URL below:
Or click on the "Bugs" link from http://www.soaplite.com/.
There is still a lot of work I would like to get done before 0.65 gets
officially released and registered with CPAN.
* I am still going through the last year of e-mail looking for reported
bugs, questions, etc. I am in March 2003, and have quite a ways to go.
* DIME Support is not ready yet - but I sincerely hope to release
SOAP::Lite with this support
* Literal style encoding is still EXPERIMENTAL, and has not been fully
tested and is not 100% complete.
Again, much thank goes to O'Reilly for the contribution of their
SOAP::Lite reference manual, and to Randy J. Ray, its author.
But special thanks goes to the many developers who have contributed to
this release through patches, bug reporting, and other correspondence.
You know who you are, and you have my sincerest gratitude.
Lead SOAP::Lite Developer
