Yes Betsy your so right , I few my 9m and was
powered till after 10;00 but a bigger kite or 7.0 sail could have gone
another hour .
The weather forecast I'm watching is for tomorrow
Another hi wind morning . And then if you can get the afternoon off . keep your
eye on Lake Lowell . there is a strong SE in the forecast , and that means NUDE
beach the new one at the lower dam . Then Friday I'm watching CJS the wind does
a 180 and it could be a repeat of Sunday .

One broken boom, one ripped
sail, and one bent kite bar later, weary but grinning windsurfers and kiters
stumbled off of LP this morning after what had to be one of the best
days of the year. A 5.0 was plenty for me today; it was great! Lots of
sailors and kiters up there enjoying it, too. And tho the water is dropping,
it was still a nice launch at Barclay, at least for now... One more
