Got on the water when Tony got off 7:20 am it was
some of the smoothest wind I have seen at LP. then about 7;45 Jon and Mike Came
out and it picked up a notch and it saw effortless jumps and back rolls for all,
stop at 8;20am . had to take the wife to the airport ,it was still going

I really like the graph on the new windmeter site. I concluded
this morning that it looked iffy, and I had a ton of work to do, so I didn't
go. Looking at the graph, it looks like it would've been sailable for me from
7:30 to 8:30, but not before.

Well Jason, I kited from 6:45 to 7:20 and it was pretty light. I
would have to say that the wind was a bit less then the meter because I was
just holding ground and no real wind for anything but mowing the lawn.
If the wind had truely been gusting to17.9 then I would have been able to
get some good jumps and got up canyon on the big board and the 13m. But I
could not. Ended up talking with my brother who came out to watch from
up on the cliffs. We watched Steve and Jon as the wind picked up a
bit. Steve on the 14 Contra and Jon on the 15m.

[snowkiteidaho] Think I got fooled!
Was anyone else 'tricked' by the 4:50 -
7:20AM lull on the new LP Wind Sensor this morning. Hope everyone's
out there ripping it up!
