Juicy chicken and sweet Potato corn soup
Put a whole chicken, frozen or thawed into a large crock pot.
Pour 1 inch of water into the pot.
Pour 1 bottle of sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce over the chicken and cook on
high for 4 hours, longer if the chicken was frozen.
Remove chicken from broth and take meat off the bone.
Serve chicken for dinner.
Whatever chicken is left, put back into the pot and add 2 large peeled
and small cubed sweet potatoes and one can of corn. Cook on high for 2
The chicken when served alone tastes faintly of the BBQ sauce, all the
collegen and the sauce goes into the soup.
The soup is outstanding.
My husband said the chicken was the best he had ever had and he had 4
bowls of the soup.
