While trying to help flatten the hierarchy for the development group I
ran into the inevitable HR question around titles. The architects
and 'Senior Engineers' were pretty keen on keep their titles and the
aspirees went hell bent on getting there one day. After much debate
everyone became Komrad (turn the K around). I became commandant for a
moment then Komrad like everyone else. The SM was Scrum Komrad. It
only lasted for a week (before Homeland security descended upon us)
but it got the point across - titles were irrelevant to getting things
